The art of fashion designing has found a new direction with haute couture. The concept ‘haute couture’ came into reality in the 19th century with Charles Frederick Worth who is known as the ‘father of haute couture’. With the passage of time Haute couture has become the mark of luxury. It adds a new dimension to fashion. The history of fashion would never be the same without the likes of Giorgio Armani, Christen Dior, Versace, Roberto Cavalli and many others who have enriched the trade of haute couture with their excellent works.

The French phrase for ‘high fashion’ seems to define the dress code at every big event and parties today including the Red Carpet Fashion Award. So it is useless to say that the combination of ‘haute’, that is, high and ‘couture’, the needlework must be elegant and imply excellence in the artistry of dressmaking. A wardrobe filled with exclusive designer collection is everyone’s dream. But high fashion comes at even higher cost. Buying couture garments is not within everyone’s reach. Body frame: Suppose you are plump then it is better not to wear sleeveless cuts. Go for light color shades, small prints and vertical line prints as these prints give a slimmer look. Heavy cotton fabric material should be avoided and go for chiffon and georgette fabric.
Skin tone: Gold or copper color clothes and accessories would look wonderful on a fair complexion. For a wheatish or medium colored skin, mixed shades of white, beige and bronzy golden look good. Dark skin toned should go for goldenish copper shades.
Personal attitude and comfort level: While determining style, comfort level and your personal attitude count a lot. If you are not comfortable wearing a particular outfit even if it makes you look drop dead gorgeous do not wear it. Every style should coincide with your personality.

For some inexplicable reason, however, ugg boots have gained popularity in some circles as something you might wear outside on a warm day. We appreciate that trendy fashion isn’t always logical, but this is going too far: pairing skimpy shorts with ultra warm foot wear just doesn’t make any sense. Are you cold or are you hot? Make up your mind, and then dress appropriately.

The fashion world has long been filled with glitz and glamour. The ramp for models is always long, dramatic, and well-lighted. The walk is certainly a walk for fame, fortunately for aspirants but sometimes leading to a walk for shame. Who is behind all these promises and/or even breakdowns? What, exactly, does a fashion designer do?

Basically, with streaks of talent, creativity, and sensitivity, fashion designers, as if influenced by Rumpelstiltskin, craft accessory and clothing sketches.
